Do you make "things"?
Do you like to buy handmade items? I've discovered a new website that is available to everyone to participate in. It's called "Artfire"and is based in the USA.
You can buy from many different people, all individuals who are committed to producing handmade quality items. And if you are one of those committed people who create ...you can sell your items here at a low monthly fee...or free if you list 10 or less items. The site is still in Beta at the moment ( November 2008) but is improving every day. If you know anyone who creates beautiful little pieces of art or crafts you can tell them about this and hopefully you'll make their day !! This is not paid for advertising and neither do I have any personal relation with the site or it's makers.
I have opened a shop there to try my luck so I figured why shouldn't other people try it as well. If you are on facebook or flickr look for "artfire" in the groups and you'll find some artists on there as well. or go straight to the external link button , you will straight to the site and to an info page on how it works and their promotions that are offered at the moment ! check it out ! |
